Scenery & Warhammer World

So I had last week off (for no real reason other than the fact that 3 days holiday taken from work meant 9 days off in a row) I primarily used this time to play a lot of Diablo but in the down time i managed to make good progress on some scenery i had planned. WIP pic of the first bit below.

Additionally I found myself in Nottingham seeing some friends and we decided to go to the GW HQ place which turned out to be the greatest idea ever. I've put a few choice pics below but suffice to say it was incredible and if you get the chance you should definitely go along. Their miniatures hall alone is worth the trip but having a pint at the end of it in Bugmans bar sealed the deal nicely. I had originally intended to purchase the newest Warhammer Forge book (Monstrous Arcanus) but when i got there and had a flip through it transpired that it didnt contain many of the rules i had hoped. Looks like i'll end up picking up either the Storm of Magic book or Tamurkhan: Throne of Chaos for some better monster rules (or to tempt myself into starting a Chaos Dwarf army!) Anywhoo...... pics.
